Hallo! Ahoj! Hello! This season's topic was an experimental encounter between American Avant-garde music, nature, and sound and we were joined by the American philosopher, professor and musician David Rothenberg. Working methods for this seminar included research, analysis, writing, field-recording, editing, and walking. We created sonic pieces from our recordings and learned new ways of understanding sound as music. The seminar took place in Olomouc, Czech Republic, from Sept 26 to Oct 01, 2021
